● CallerIDinformationistransmittedbetweenthefirstandsecondrings,soifautoansweristurnedoff(S0=0)

orifthemodemissettoanswerafteronlyonering(S0=1),themodemdoesnotreceiveCallerIDinformation.

Checkyourinitializationstring,andifnecessarychangeittosetth

emodemtoanswerafterthesecond ring

(S0=2).

● MakesurethatyouhaveCallerIDservicefromyourtelephonecompany.

FaxandDataSoftwareCan’tRunattheSameTime

● Communicationsdevicescanbeaccessedbyonlyoneapplicationatatime.InWindows2003andhigher,you

canhavedataandfaxcommunicationapplicationsopenatthesametime,buttheycannotusethesame

modematthesametime.
