1. Thisequipmentcomplieswithpart68oftheFederalCommunicationsCommissionRules.Ontheoutside

surfaceofthisequipmentisalabelthatcontains,amongotherinformation,theFCCregistrationnumber.

Thisinformationmustbeprovidedtothetelephonecompany.

2. ThesuitableUSOCjack(UniversalServi ceOrderCodeconnectingarrangement)forthiseq

uipmentis

shownbelow.Ifapplicable,thefacilityinterfacecodes(FIC)andserviceordercodes(SOC)areshown.

3. AnFCC‐complianttelephonecordandmodularplugisprovidedwiththisequipment.Thise quipmentis

designedtobeconnectedtothetelephonenetworkorpremiseswiringusingacompatiblem

odularjack

thatisPart68compliant.Seeinstallationinstructionsfordetails.

4. Theringerequivalencenumber(REN)isusedtodeterminethenumberofdevicesthatmaybeconnected

tothetelephoneline.ExcessiveRENsonthetelephonelinemayresultinthedevicenotringingin

responsetoanincomingcall.Inmost,bu

tnotall,areasthesumoftheRENsshouldnotexceed5.0.Tobe

certainofthenumberofdevicesthatmaybeconnectedtotheline,asdeterminedbythetotalRENs,

contactthelocaltelephonecompany.

5. Ifthisequipmentcausesharmtothetelephonene

twork,thetelephonecompanywillnotifyyouin

advancethattemporarydiscontinuanceofservicemayberequired.Butifadvancenoticeisnotpractical,

thetelephonecompanywillnotifyyouassoonaspossible.Also,youwillbeadvisedofyourrighttofilea

complaintwithth

eFCCifyoubelieveitisnecessary.

6. Thetelephonecompanymaymakechangesinitsfacilities,equipment,operations,orproceduresthat

couldaffecttheoperationoftheequipment.Ifthishappens,thetelephonecompany willprovideadvance

noticeinorderforyoutomakenecessarymodificationsinordertomaintainuninterruptedservice.

7. Iftroubleisexperiencedwiththisequipment(themodelofwhichisindicatedbelow)pleasecontact

Multi‐TechSystems,Inc.attheaddressshownbelowfordetailsofhowtohaverepairsmade.Ifthe

troubleiscausingharmtothetelephonenetwork,thetelephonecompanymay requestyoure

movethe

equipmentfromthenetworkuntiltheproblemisresolved.

8. Norepairsaretobemadebyyou.RepairsaretobemadeonlybyMulti‐TechSystemsoritslicensees.

Unauthorizedrepairsvoidregistrationandwarranty.
