Step 2 – Packet Filter Rules

1. Go to the Packet Filters > Packet Filters Rules screen to set the client rights. These rights

give the remote client access the PPTP network.

2. In the section labeled Add User Defined Packet Filter Rules, go to the drop down list box

labeled From (Host/Networks) and select the network to which the remote PPTP client will

have access.

Example: PPTP-Pool.

3. Select the Service to be allowed, or you can accept the default Any.

4. Select the To (Host/Network).

6. Click the Add button to add the packet filter rules to the list which will display at the bottom of

the screen.

7. Select the Action of Accept to give rights to this network.

Note: Packet Filter rules are listed by priority; in other words, Rule 1 takes precedence over

Rule 2.
