FCCPart15ClassBStatements

ThisequipmenthasbeentestedandfoundtocomplywiththelimitsforaClassBdigitaldevice,

pursuantto47CFRPart15regulations.Thestatedlimitsinthisregulationaredesigned toprovide

reasonableprotectionagainstharmfulinterferenceinaresidentialinstallation.Thisequipment

generates,uses,andcanradiateradiof

requencyenergy,andifnotinstalledandusedinaccordance

withtheinstructions,maycauseharmfulinterferencetoradiocommunications.However,thereisno

guaranteethatinterferencewillnotoccurinaparticularinstallation.Ifthisequipmentdoescause

harmfulinterferencetoradioortelevisionreception,whichcanbedeterminedbytur

ningthe

equipmentoffandon,theuserisencouragedtotrytocorrecttheinterferencebyoneormoreofthe

followingmeasures:

• Reorientorrelocatethereceivingantenna.

• Increasetheseparationbetweentheequipmentandreceiver.

• Plugtheequipmentintoanoutletonacircui

tdifferentfromthattowhichthereceiverisconnected.

• Consultthedealeroranexperiencedradio/TVtechnicianforhelp.

ThisdevicecomplieswithPart15ofthe47CFRrules.Operationofthisdeviceissubjecttothefollowing

conditions:(1)Thisdevicemaynotcaus e harmfulinterference,and(2

)thisdevicemustacceptany

interferencethatmaycauseundesiredoperation.

1. Thisequipmentcomplieswithpart68oftheFederalCommunicationsCommissionRules.Onthe

outsidesurfaceofthisequipmentisalabelthatcontains,amongotherinformation,theFCC 

registrationnumber.Thisinformationmustbeprovidedtothetelephonecompany.

2. ThesuitableUSOCjack(UniversalServi ceOrderCodeconnectingarrangement)forthisequipment

isshownbelow.Ifapplicable,thefacilityinterfacecodes(FIC)andserviceordercodes(SOC)are

shown.

3. AnFCC‐complianttelephonecordandmodularplugisprovidedwiththisequipment.This

equipmentisdesignedtobeconnectedtothetelephonenetworkorpremiseswiringusinga

compati

blemodularjackthatisPart68compliant.Seeinstallationinstructionsfordetails.

4. Theringerequivalencenumber(REN)isusedtodeterminethenumberofdevicesthatmaybe

connectedtothetelephoneline.ExcessiveRENsonthetelephonelinemayresultinthedevicenot

ringinginresponsetoanin

comingcall.Inmost,butnotall,areasthesumoftheRENsshouldnot

exceed5.0.Tobecertainofthenumberofdevicesthatmaybeconnectedtotheline,as

determinedbythetotalRENs,contactthelocaltelephonecompany.
