Administration Screen

The Administration Screen sets up the network addressing of the MultiAccess, communication with the

SMTP mail server, and defines the SNTP time server for the MultiAccess.

Administration Screen Field Definitions

Field Name Values Description

IP Configuration Fields

IP Address n.n.n.n The IP address of the MultiAccess.

Subnet Mask n.n.n.n

The subnet mask is used to identify the two parts

of the IP address; network number and host

number. A subnet mask is used in conjunction

with the IP address to determine if a data

destination is on the same immediate network or

not. The default value is 255.255.255.0.

Name Server n.n.n.n The IP address of your DNS server.

Default Gateway n.n.n.n

Address used to route IP packets off the

immediate network.

Secondary Name Server n.n.n.n

The IP address of a backup DNS server,

optional.

Update (button) Click on this button to make changes to IP

Configuration fields take effect.
